An industry standard of the National Energy Administration, titled Technical Guidelines for Biomass Circulating Fluidized Bed Gasification Systems (NB/T 11895—2025)—written and led by Hefei Debo Bioenergy Technology Co., Ltd.—has been officially approved and released. This standard is scheduled to formally take effect on March 28, 2026, marking the advent of yet another significant regulatory guideline within China's biomass gasification technology sector.
This standard was jointly compiled by Hefei Debo Bioenergy Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with numerous industry-leading enterprises and research institutions—including PowerChina Northwest Engineering Corporation Limited and Shaanxi Xinneng Biomass Technology Development Co., Ltd. The standard systematically delineates technical specifications covering the entire process of biomass circulating fluidized bed gasification systems, encompassing feedstock supply, the gasifier body, ignition devices, ash removal systems, process equipment and piping layouts, construction and installation, as well as commissioning and operation. It is applicable to the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of such systems.
As the lead drafting organization, Hefei Debo provided critical technical support for the formulation of this standard, drawing upon its years of deep technical expertise and extensive practical engineering experience in the field of biomass gasification. The publication of this standard fills a domestic gap regarding comprehensive technical specifications for biomass circulating fluidized bed gasification systems; by providing a unified and scientifically grounded technical framework for the industry, it will effectively ensure the safe and stable operation of biomass gasification systems while promoting the efficient and clean utilization of biomass energy.
